Is Your credit Score Too Low to Get Approved For a Mortgage?

Like a large percentage of the population, many of us have made financial mistakes in the past, or have just had plain old bad luck! Whether it be credit cards, student loans, or a divorce. Just because your credit isn’t “perfect” does not mean you can’t get approved on a mortgage loan!

Stacking The Odds In Your Favour

Here is a small breakdown on how it works, and a few reasons why it is in your best interest to see a mortgage agent rather than a bank. A mortgage agent will take all the information from your application and check your credit score. Once this is done we will be able to shop around all the banks (there are a lot more than you think) for the lowest possible rate you qualify for. This is where the benefits of using an agent comes into play!

If you were to go a bank (i.e- TD, Scotiabank, BMO) they would give you their current lending rate. If you do not like that rate then you go to another bank and do the same thing. Now the down side to that is each one of those banks needs to check your credit EACH time!

This could hurt your credit score and bring it down every time it is checked. Here at Mortgage Forces an agent only has to check your credit once because we have access to every banks rate! Using a mortgage agent could save you thousands of dollars down the road.

The problem with bruised credit clients run into is that they are denied at their banks. We have access to many banks that have programs specially designed for bruised credit clients.

Start paying your money into a future investment! If you can afford rent, you can afford a mortgage! It is as simple as that!
